"*Please read. I wish I could give negative stars. Between rude nursing staff and Dr. Korson's "not my problem" dismissive attitude, this is without a doubt the worst medical experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. I experienced blatant miscommunication, rudeness and ignorance from the facility personnel. I have been thoroughly let down and incurred bodily harm prepping for no reason, only to be talked down to like a child by my doctor. First, the prep instructions were a little confusing, and I reached out over the phone to a nurse at the facility to make sure I was doing it right. The nurse I spoke to was extremely rude and talked to me like I was an idiot. She was very clearly upset that I was even asking and just repeated the instructions verbatim, without hearing or addressing my confusion, this was all before I even stepped foot in the facility. Luckily, I "guessed" right and the prep was done correctly, with no help from the nurse staff. The main issue however was when I showed up for my appointment, I was scheduled with a doctor who was unlicensed to perform the necessary procedures. I took off work 2 days, had my neighbor take off work to drive me, didn't eat for 2 days, endured painful and miserable gastro prep, and then was told that they weren't even aware of my specific issues or what I needed done when I showed up. They did not bother to reach out to understand. This experience was a complete nightmare circus and I recommended staying as far away from Lakewood Endoscopy as you possibly can. My scheduled physician, Dr. Andrew Korson (MD), was dismissive of my frustrations, and refused to accept any sort of responsibility on behalf of RMG (LES) for not even attempting to understand what my needs were BEFORE the procedure prep, but also in the same conversation informed me that I would need to reschedule and they couldn't do anything that day. This was a tragic, painful, and frankly disturbing experience that cost so much money, misery and grief. I hope you find somewhere else to go for your very sensitive needs related to gastrointestinal issues. The only positive thing I experienced was the kind and understanding prep nurse who talked with me to let me know they didn't have the right doctor scheduled to perform my procedure. These people are not looking out for you, only the money. Thanks Lakewood endoscopy, not only have I wasted time, energy, money, PTO, but also I am still dealing with the gastrointestinal issues. I will be seeking care somewhere else far away from these unprofessional, high patient thru-put, money hungry clowns and I suggest you do too."

"The staff and process were great. My complaint was how much I had to pay after insurance. When I called LES to schedule the appt. they told me how much it would be, insurance adjusted, and that amount was OK. What wasn't explained is there would be another bill from RM Gastroenterology and another one from the anesthesiologist. Now I have a high deductible plan but just make sure you understand your full out of pocket when scheduling."

"My very first colonoscopy and this center was amazing. The receptionist was very nice and the perfect person to be at the front desk checking you in. Nurses Bonnie and Cathy had such great bedside manner. The entire staff made me feel super comfortable and I would recommend them to anyone needing this procedure. Great staff and terrific experience. Thank you so much."

"I had to repeat the prep because the clinic PA didn’t listen to me describing how the prep may not work because I’ve been taking laxatives since childhood. So, I had to REDO all of the prep now with two days of prep! Before and after the procedure, I asked for guidance on the chronic constitution, painful bowel movements and stomach cramps. The only info shared was that I didn’t have polyps, they remove some hemorrhoids, and everything else looks great. So no info about my concerns regarding my bowel health! The nurse told me as I was leaving that a prescription for some cream was called in. When I asked which pharmacy because I have three, she asked us to call all of them to see which had received it. I did that and two days post procedure, no prescription had bend received. Last week, I shared all of this with someone who called to check in. She was friendly and assured me that someone would be reaching out said that someone would contact me. When someone called, she said that she couldn’t really help and advised that I call the main number to schedule a follow up. I’m dreading this call because I’ll have to justify why I need to see the actual doctor. I reminded every person that I came into contact with at your practice to please take a quick look at my complicated history. Clearly, no one did."

"Well, I felt like I received good care while I had my procedure. However, They double billed me as if I had two procedures I asked repeatedly for statements, and was always told I would get a statement in the mail and have never gotten a statement but I keep getting harassed for payment. I’m very frustrated that I cannot seem to get a statement and get the billing back on track. I feel like I’m getting the runaround. I’ve paid the procedure in full, but they seem to think I have not because they have me down for two procedures on two different days which did not happen."
