"Pediatric Dental Group Of Lakewood is listed as a provider for BCBS DENTAL. I called to make an appointment for my children and they said that they were not able to honor BCBS FEP DENTAL because it was too difficult to contact staff at BCBS. Pediatric Dental Group Of Lakewood stated that they would require pre-payment for dental services! A complete scam. If this dental office will not honor BCBS then they should not be listed as a provider."

"I can’t say enough about how much I would not recommend this practice. Earlier this year I lost my son. The practice was informed of this loss and you would expect a pediatric group, or anyone, to understand the devastation surrounding this. However 2 months after his passing I received an appointment reminder for him with his name listed as “DECEASED”. They blamed the automated system despite the fact that someone clearly didn’t cancel his appointment. I chose to move my other son to a new practice and decide to move on. Then this week I received an $11 bill from a service 6 months ago. Someone had written on it by hand, so they can’t blame automation this time. The lack of decency and insensitivity at a place for kids should be highly considered before going here."

"Our kids have had great experiences with the dental hygienist and dentists. Even one of our kids had some cavities filled and the process was super smooth. It was a great experience for him. Where we have had issues is being able to reach the office. Most recently, we tried reaching the office the morning of an appointment. Unfortunately, our kids were sick so we had to cancel. Google says their office opens at 8:45, we could not reach anyone until 9:15 when our appointment was at 9:00. Being on time with opening up the phones would be nice for us, the patients but I'm sure it would be more efficient for the office. Or at least give us an opportunity to leave a voice message during after hours. This addition would improve customer service."

"Good dentists, but everything else about this place is horrible. Thier managed by an absentee "manager" Nicole who doesnt return calls and is hard to reach. They will overcharge you for same services rendered by other dentists facilities. Will not be returning to this practice. Seek a different childrens dental practice. This one has overpriced services, uncommunicative staff, and shady billing/business practices."

"My little boy had an appointment this morning. He was having a rough time initially but he's 3 so ... yeah. The front desk receptionist was fantastic and very kind. The girl who walked us back and was setting up the room was very mean and just not pleasant at all. She made me feel bad and I'm sure my son as well.. this is our second time here having a bad experience with the dental assistants. Dentist was awesome though thankfully, and patient. Overall good experience minus the girl in the room with us. She should work on proper etiquette when it comes to interacting and working with children considering this is a pediatric dental office."
