"These guys have messed up scheduling the last three times that I've shown up in their office. It is incredibly frustrating to take time out of my work day only to have to go home because someone booked me for the wrong time or double booked. I don't know how good therapists are because I can't ever seem to get in when I show up for the time they scheduled me."

"There are some companies/employees who are using COVID as a scapegoat/opportunity to tell customers to pound sand. This is one such company. I wrote an email sincerely requesting some assistance for my girlfriend who has been struggling with some issues. We are new to the area and this is the one place we know and thought we could go to. Within seconds (certainly faster than any other email response I have ever received from them) the response came, cheerfully listing the variety of ways in which they could/would not help us. No help whatsoever. Pound sand. The amounts I have paid in appointment cancellation fees alone should buy me more consideration than that. Or, you know, the fact that we are human beings. At any rate, this is Kaiser's JV team. I'd say just wait the extra couple days and get an actual counselor. Unless you enjoy being told that your problems aren't important and - ultimately - YOU are not important."
