White Rabbit Beads is a beloved bead shop located in Old Colorado City, Colorado Springs. With 35 years of history, the store has been a go-to destination for all your beading needs. Originally known as Bead Trader, the shop is now under new ownership with Cheyene and Jason at the helm. The couple, who are skilled stone cutters, beaders, and silversmiths, bring their expertise and passion to White Rabbit Beads.
Former owner Dr. Taryn Sweeney, who has lovingly curated the shop for the past 13 years, will still be involved part-time to assist with the transition and continue teaching classes. The shop also welcomes visitors with their friendly greeters - the owner's dogs who are always ready to meet new friends.
White Rabbit Beads offers a wide range of beads, jewelry supplies, and classes for all levels of experience. Whether you're a seasoned jewelry maker or just starting out, the store has something for everyone. "Visited this store recently on a trip and it was very cool. The shop is run by a very nice woman and her two (very calm and nice) dogs. You can make a piece of jewelry in store and wear it out which is so cool if you want a unique souvenir. The shop owner was even able to make some clip on earrings for me right there in like two minutes even while she was helping other customers."
