"Goodness gracious I’ve never been to a more miraculous place. I came to Fruita with a terminal illness, expecting to suffer a tuberculosis explosion within the next few days. Me and my family were walking the streets of Downtown Fruita when we decided to pop into The Vintage Common. It was our last stop before coming back home to Knoxville, Tennessee. I was feeling low, knowing this was the end of my last trip. Upon entering the shop, I felt overcome with this sense of peace. It was the smell of the vintage clothes, the light coming through the painted windows, and the smile on the shopkeepers face. It was the first sense of peace I’d had since I found out about my illness. I never had the tuberculosis explosion. I truly believe that the peace I felt from Michelle’s Vintage Common was my cure."

"Michele took care of us so well and has such a great selection of cool clothing. Such a nice person. The shop is warm and smells great and is reflective of a easy going small town vibe. Check this shop out, and shop local :)"

"They don't deal or trade, which is odd for a shop like this since they sell used items. I like to deal locally so I walked in there with the intention of giving her first dibs on a whole lot of cool 60's/70's vinyl that I was parting with, vintage men's clothing, flannels hunting coats, bone china, Indian trinkets, Persian tapestries, .925 silver etc., if I only found something(s) I was willing to trade for. They would have got the better end of the deal by far. I found an overpriced 7 Walkers LP for $35 that I wouldn't mind having so I simply asked the lady if they trade. She said "no". So I left. As for the goods, it's mostly women's clothing and stuff. Not much for guys."
