"I really wish I didn’t have to leave this negative review but unfortunately my experience was horrible. I contracted with Handyman Connection of Parker to secure (2) smoke detector brackets, hang (2) tv mounts and install a chase for each TV and hang (3) floating shelves. I was quoted $450 for all. Tech showed up right at 9am as promised. He was very nice however it became evident fairly quickly that he wasn’t quite as experienced as he needed to be. Fast forward 6 hours and only my floating shelves were done correctly, (1) tv bracket was mounted but wasn’t planned properly and didn’t work with the tv (I had 2 options for him to use). Tech left a mess and damage to the wall that was horribly patched (because he cut the hole in the wrong spot) . Sadly- the owner Steve had promised to “stand behind the work” but then proceeded to say they wouldn’t charge me for the work already done but it was going to cost $450 for them to come do the drywall repair since they had to send a new tech and he had to be paid. (This was determined after discussing with the other owner Mike) So essentially I was going to have to pay $450 for 3 floating shelves and the damage to drywall caused by their employee (who I was told was let go after a string of issues so I’m certain I wasn’t the only client left with subpar work). I told him I would absolutely pay $450 once the items I contracted for were completed but would not pay for the labor of the drywall repair (especially to the tune of $450) I even offered to pay for just the shelves as long as they could come fix the patch job. Unfortunately - the option I ultimately chose for resolution was to “part ways” since “I wouldn’t be happy” (his words). I am so disappointed in how this turned out especially after seeing other reviews. You either stand behind your work or you don’t. And based on my experience - they don’t."
