"Avoid this company, believe the other one star reviews, save your move and money for a professional company. Canceled halfway into my time window, saying because of cold weather. I get it’s hard to move in cold, but EVERYONE in Colorado was warned this whole last week in advance about the cold weather on Sunday and yet this company still scheduled my appointment two days ago. Unless they’re living under a rock, they have no excuse to not know. After years in the business you’d think they’d have an idea of what their movers are capable of (I just hired an emergency last minute moving company who was surprised by this company’s unprofessionalism and lack of understanding of how weather works). Believe the other 1 star reviews. Avoid this company. It is low-rate and poor customer service. I had to be out of my apartment by today and they were told this at time of reservation. They also take a deposit unlike most places, so just do yourself a favor and save your money."

"Elite did a big move for us three years ago and did a stellar job. Based on that experience, called them for a parent's apartment move this month. All scheduling was set 3 weeks ahead, then verified 24 hours in advance, then they were complete no-shows...not even a phone call from them, after 4 calls/VMs asking where they were. Not sure what to expect of them now..."

"I didn’t hire this company but they left a bad taste. They showed up at my apartment complex at 8 am and were yelling and disturbing the peace for over an hour in a very quiet neighborhood on a Saturday morning. Super inconsiderate. On top of that, they parked in front of my driveway so I couldn’t get out. Not a great way to start the day. Please chat with the team about being more respectful toward their surroundings."

"The mover guys worked hard for Elite Movers, or I would put a 1* review. Here are some of the many issues I had with this company: 1) I was quoted a price by the main office, that they verified over and over again. When I got the bill, it was 50% over the quote, and they refused to return my calls to discuss. 2) The week before, I had told the office the "move-from" and "move-to" exact addresses, so they knew the details. The move-from address was a ground floor level and the move-to address was a simple storage facility. The mover guys showed up at the move-from address with a HUGE truck that they were afraid to get down the driveway. I had told the office that the driveway was "windy and steep" and that we only had 8 pieces of furniture to move. However the guys said they couldn't get down the driveway with that big of a truck. They said they saw the order and interpreted it as "windy" (as in windy weather, I guess--same spelling but not the same meaning). They said the only way I could complete my move that day was to USE MY OWN truck to haul all the furniture piece by piece up the driveway so they could load it into their big truck. So, I took off the morning from work to help with the move since there was no other move date possible. SEE PHOTOS. They didn't have straps to tie in the furniture, saying the hill was not all that steep and they would just hold it in. (see photo) I didn't want to be liable for a dead or injured mover if the heavy dresser shifted on my truck & hurt him, so I insisted they use my tie downs, which they did. 3) When they got to the move-to destination, they could not present an invoice because they somehow had lost their binder en-route. So I took off the rest of the day from work to retrace the route, but couldn't find their binder. So they called the office and the office said to charge us this exorbitant price for moving 8 pieces of furniture, We paid this because the mover guys were sincerely trying to do a good job, and the furniture arrived in good shape. We also gave them a $100 tip. We told them we would reconcile this with the owners later. 4) However, the owners and office manager (Brianna) just never even bothered to call us back or ever provide an invoice or receipt for the almost $1,500 we had paid the company. I asked for a detailed receipt so I could better understand why the end price was so much. I wanted to give them a chance to explain their side of the story. I thought they should consider compensating me for use of my vehicle--at least a little gas money, and my time taken off work. However, they refused to EVER provide me an invoice. I highly DO NOT recommend this company to anyone needing a professional moving company!! (BTW, we later hired Smooth Movers out of Pueblo to help us get the furniture from the "move-to" storage facility into our home and our experience was the exact opposite--they were reasonably priced, very professional, and I would highly recommend them in place of this company)."
