"I paid $577 with usps- they didn't deliver my packages to my home. I had to pick them up. Their excuse was "if we delivered all yours, others wouldn't get their packages" I live 3 minutes from the post office and fit all the boxes in my car. It'd have taken maybe 15 minutes to drop my PAID SERVICES off"

"Absolutely the worst post office I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I've lived in multiple cities as an adult and do 99% of my shopping and business via post. I've never had near this much trouble with a postal service. Packages take a day plus over any estimate given simply because "They didn't get to it" packages are frequently lost or completely smashed and 90% of the time the lazy delivery driver leaves a notice instead of a package. When at all possible I try to ship FedEx or Ups just to avoid this horrible post office! It's no wonder usps is loosing customer base left and right! Awful."

"Some of the ladies and one of the men who work at the front desk are wonderful. Currently having an issue with missing packages and the delivery person/people bringing mail to the wrong address, and putting our mail in the incorrect mailbox. I was sent a stimulus check and never got it; pretty sure it ended up with my neighbors and sure their trashcan. My mom had a package she was expecting; says it's been delivered by USPS at our home address and that is M.I.A. too. Some of my clients end up with other people's mail in their post office boxes. They seem very unorganized and overwhelmed at this location."

"New to Paonia and I don’t have direct mail delivery. The staff has been wonderful helping me figure out how to address things in a way they get delivered. With the volume of mail delivery these days I am super impressed with how quickly my items are processed and the two main staff that I have dealt with (young man and young woman) have been so kind and professional every single time. Just a shout out and thank you for a small town Post Office."

"I don't know why this post office gets such bad reviews. I've lived here 28 years and though the postal employees come and go, they have been consistently helpful and friendly. Since Paonia doesn't have universal street delivery of mail, shippers often leave off the PO Box and try to send via USPS to my street address. The Paonia Post Office could send it back as undeliverable but, instead, takes that extra bit of care to correct the address. Also, the Post Office is the people nexus of the town where you meet friends and chat."
