"Incredibly overpriced! I brought in two rings in to have sized. They ended up charging me $1100! Having been in the jewelry trade, I was extremely disappointed and hurt. Personally, I would recommend going anywhere else. One ring they sized, stretched the band so thin that I had to have it replaced by another jewler that only charged 60$. ( industry standard ) Horrible experience! I took two months to write this review so that I wasn’t doing it in anger. I think about the money that was given to these people and I could’ve purchased a 2 carat ruby for the amount that they charged to size 2 rings! Maybe in the future, they would consider charging industry standards for sizing. Perhaps they would’ve gained a larger sale and a repeat customer."
"I recently visited Boulder and wanted to get my wedding rings resized and look for a new band. Courtney and Christine were so helpful and shared ideas with me that I hadn’t really thought about. Christine ordered a few settings and some stones for me to look at from which I made a choice. Sizing my own rings was a problem because they’re platinum and the tips all needed to be redone before the ring could be worked on. I was very happy with the results and my old rings look gorgeous and fit, and I love my new ruby and diamond band. Excellent work and service will bring me back to Schapell Jewelers next time I’m in Boulder. Thank you ladies!"
