Broadmoor Cloud Camp

"A truly beautiful location with a terrible experience. This hotel is all about money and not customers or customer service! I wanted to treat my wife and I for our 5th anniversary and I wanted to do something special. I saw their website but the all inclusive was very vague especially at $1230 a night. So I called and the girl I spoke to told me the all inclusive included zip lining and golf as well as pickle ball, Mule rides and hiking. Being a golfer I was sold and had to pay in full for it was blast minute. My wife and I were so excited and flying high! A couple days later I was called by the hotel concierge to confirm our stay and then it all came tumbling down. No golf!! No zip line!! The girl who booked me was new and misspoke. Why would you have a beginner book $1200 rooms? With no cancellation available we still had to go but what are we getting for $1230. It had better be good. But it wasn't!!!! The concierge heard how displeased I sounded and actually got a manager to call me, Renee Browles. She explained how we were going to have a great time even though we weren't getting what we were told but did promise to listen to the original booking call to see if inwas truly promised golf and zip lining. I was offended to be called a liar. Well when you stay only one night and they don't let you arrive before 3pm, so you miss lunch. Then it took over and hour and a have to gut us a ride and get up the mountain. So we get there right before dinner. We were told we would be in a cooking and cocktail class. Didn't happen! We were told a 5 coarse meal, the chef told us sorry, they ran our of one of the coases and didn't have time to get more. We wanted to ride Mules, sorry all booked. Dinner was OK and the room was fine but not for $1230!!!! By the time we woke and had breakfast we had to meet the shuttle at 10am. We barely got to just walk around before having to leave. Then we were packed in a shuttle with 14 other people like a airport shuttle. FOR $1230!!! And no one from Broadmore ever called us to see if we had a good time especially for our anniversary!! They truly Suck!!!! SO I TELL EVERYONE, GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT DONT GO TO the BROADMORE CLOUD CAMP resort!!! NOT WORTH IT!!!!!"

"The location is beautiful and breathtaking. It’s relaxing and the hummingbird feeders are a nice touch. I’ve never seen so many in one spot before. I was not a fan of the evening dinners because they are drawn out 2-3 hrs depending on how any ppl are there."

"Cloud Camp was beyond my expectations. The staff were amazing led by the wonderful Manager Kurt. We had terrific interactions with Kris, Kaila, Jess, Sadie, Jackson & Nicole. We were a very small group during our stay so we felt like royalty with all the attention we had. There was quite a storm while we were there which knocked power out for a few hours, but Kurt was at the ready at our cabins handing out flashlights and making sure we were all okay. Snow blanketed the mountain during the storm which hampered any outdoor activities we had planned but it was wonderful to play some board games and cards and enjoy the relaxing fires in both fireplaces and have some very quality “down” time and lots of chats with staff and the other guests. The meals were wonderful and menus very impressive with a multitude of choices. The cabin was very spacious and well appointed and the bed was so very comfortable. It is an absolutely amazing and unique environment where one can detach from the outside world but enjoy the splendor and beauty of the mountains and literally be in the clouds. Thank you to Kurt and his staff for making this such a memorable experience that will never be forgotten!"

"Cloud Camp is such a unique and incredibly beautiful place to experience. It's a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Very Western, rustic atmosphere with every amenity you could want. The buildings are amazing with so many details to take in. The views are spectacular, of both the city lights far below you and of Pikes Peak and the front range. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There is a nice range of activities to do right from/at camp (archery, mule ride, hikes, games, hot tubs, etc). I hope to be back again some day!"
