"I was a resident when it was called Chins Up and it was awful, the staff ignored us, threatened us. They later employed my family member, who had been convicted in a dependency and neglect case. Totally inappropriate, as this person had access to my files."

"Griffith centers for children did some good and a lot of bad. While presenting me with people I still trust, it caused a lot of pain. As a former client, I wouldn't recommend the place. While there are good people there, they are treated as disposable pawns and are in a extremely hostile work environment. They, the higher ups, don't work with the kids twenty four seven, so they think they know the clients needs but really don't."

"Horrible place to work. Pay is barely above minimum wage yet they require a bachelor's. They are way more concerned with not paying overtime than they are with their employees safety, health or wellbeing and the kids safety. There aren't enough staff to safely care for the kids because staff has no support along with terrible pay and horrific working conditions so no one stays. There is no program, basically just babysitting highly abusive children in a chaotic environment. I would never allow my own kids to be treated there. No one is "treated" just schooled in how to become better criminals or victims."

"Well my son has several mental disabilities and they accepted him in their program and everyone else gave up on him as well as his education, now when we went for the tour and meeting to start him in program the principal looked at his history and looked at me in my eyes and said " I am not gonna give up on your son, we will work with him" I thought finally someone gave me hope and cares about my child. School started Aug 13 2018 and school ended Oct 2018 for him and as we speak he's still not in any type of education. My son has several disabilities and at every educational school or program he got discharged or kicked out basically and I live in Pueblo so transportation was always an issue for him due to another kid who attended same program and past school w my son always had issues with each other so w my son's mental disabilities and bus issues they the principal offered to drive my son home and last she hugged me and said not to worry he will be back in school monday well she discharged him due to my son not capable of learning fast as they wanted I do want to thank Robert the therapist for working with my son and helping him he has always talked highly of him."

"Griffith Centers for Children helped us become certified foster parents through their Chins Up program. Becoming certified can be a daunting process, but Chins Up answered all of our questions quickly and walked us through every step, making it very understandable and easy! They have supported us every step of the way and made our family feel important and appreciated."
