"For two months, I'd had pain in my ankle that no doctor had been able to specifically diagnose. Though X-rays were taken, there was no break, fracture, or other evidence that pointed to why the pain was growing increasingly worse. At my request, I was given a referral to physical therapy and was assigned to work with Justin at Select PT. After thoroughly examining and testing my range of motion and what movement produced the pain, he diagnosed the problem as tendonitis. He gave me stretches and exercises to help heal the area. It's only a week since I saw him, but the exercises are diminishing my pain and I can walk more normally. (My dog is VERY happy about that!) Justin is an excellent listener also. His communication skills are impressive. I so appreciated that he reiterated what he heard me saying, thoroughly explained what his thoughts were and how he would test the ankle to determine the problem, diagnosed it correctly, explained how to do the exercises along with the benefits and timeline before I would begin to see results, and finished our session with a synopsis of my session with him. As if all this weren't enough to earn my loyalty, from the minute I walked in, Victoria made me feel like "family". Select Physical Therapy in Highlands Ranch is a hidden gem!"
