"I love the PA, Heidi Warner, she is EXCELLENT. Unfortunately, the practice has limited physicals to 20 minutes now. At 60, a 20 minute physical is going over your meds and referrals, then a 2 minute look at you body. No skin check, no time. No breast check, no time. Check reflexes, listen to chest and stomach, look in ears. That's it. Can't get blood drawn because there's no phlebotomist there. To get blood checked, I must be there from 9:15-11:15, or 1:15-3. I live 1 hour away. Sooooo, guess I won't get blood drawn, so there's another physical norm that is skipped. Extremely disappointed in the new policy and cannot believe what our health system has come to. The front desk was a mess too. No copier, no scanner, girl at desk was disinterested at best. I used to love this practice. I don't anymore. After 15 ish years, it's so disappointing to be treated so non chalantly at a 60 year old physical. Oh, but you get more time at 65. At this rate, I'll be dead by then, nobody monitoring my health, really."
"I’ve been trying to get this doctors office to send a script to my delivery pharmacy for going on three weeks now. The pharmacy has sent 2 fax requests. The doctor filled the script for the first request 2 weeks after it was sent and sent it to the wrong pharmacy. I had to call the office to let them know & the receptionist told me the pharmacy who sent the initial request did not provide any information on where to send the script to. So I had to call the pharmacy and they sent a second fax with all the pertinent information on where to send the script. I called after the holiday to double check if the office received the second fax because the pharmacy had called me twice to inform me they have not received the prescription. The receptionist said they never received a request for a prescription but she will let the doctor know. The pharmacy called me again today saying they have been trying all day to reach the office by phone but there is an automated message stating it it outside of normal business hours. It’s a Tuesday. Maybe they forgot to turn the phone lines on? Anyway, the pharmacy said they will try again tomorrow but if they are unable to make contact they will have to cancel the order. It’s been almost three weeks since the initial request was sent in. To say I’m frustrated is an understatement. This is also not the first time this has happened with this office. The first time I had antibiotics called in. The pharmacist called the doctors office to verify my symptoms before they would fill the script. I called the doctors office four or five times over the course of three weeks to verify my symptoms so the script could be filled. I ended up making an appointment to come in person to get the antibiotics filled. It took almost a month and required an in person appointment to get resolved. Dealing with this office has been a nightmare. There seems to be a total lack of care for patient wellbeing."
"They schedule you at lunch and don't tell no one will be there to let you in. And they turn their phones off. Poor communication, at least. Certainly poor customer service. Currently at least 6 patients waiting outside the door."
"Don't Bother. This was going to be my first phyiscal since the Global Pandemic, but now I am considered a new patent. They can't get the forms to work online. They want me to fill out 40+ pages by hand when they promised that I could fill out the forms online, but the website has been down for over a week. When I called all I got was excuses and no timeline on when the website would be up again, so I canceled the appointment and will find a new GP who has the forms online. We are in the 21st century, who doesn't have digital forms?"
"I've only had one visit for a physical so far, but the the entire staff was very accommodating and I didn't have to wait long at all. Dr Hemler was super helpful and friendly and addressed my concerns, so I'm hopeful I've found a great doctor I can rely on for years to come!"
