"I attended a raks sharqi dance workshop here this past weekend. What a lovely studio! The owner Maysa is gracious and talented, her talented workshop presenter was the incomparable Sadie (IYKYK). I traveled from another city to attend, so new space for me and my Service Dog. She made accommodations for me and my companion, and no dancers were inconvenienced. That includes me! If all of studio clases are anything like this workshop they hosted, you will not be disappointed."
"I have not attended classes at this studio, but I am absolutely blown away by their generosity in supporting our community. Basma brought an amazing crew to perform at Horizon Middle School's Annual Multicultural Event a few weeks ago. They were such a highlight of our evening! Our staff, students, and community were enthralled by the variety of performances and they even invited audience members to join them on stage to practice some of the dance moves. "I’ve been looking for a dance school closer to home and in a safer area than other belly dance/oriental dance schools — and Basma offers that much and more! I felt so respected by Maissaa as a dancer. Instead of dividing up classes by level, she adds combos for more advanced students like me, which also adds a challenge for lower level students.
