"SCAM ARTIST!!!!! I own vacation rentals in WY, Joe has been coming for years to teach his classes. Sometimes people don’t book on Airbnb and I enter their card manually. Joe’s card was declined and he has not paid his bill of $1,400.00 and it’s been almost a month!!!! Real “tactical” Joe!!!!!"

"The class I enrolled for was cancelled the day before with the promise that it would be rescheduled. After weeks of no rescheduling and my emails requesting a refund being ignored, I filed a dispute for the payment. I also spoke to the owner, Joe. He indicated he would no longer be doing private classes because of BS reviews but he would refund my money within a couple of hours. He didn't respond to the Paypal request to refund. Paypal then sent me this email: An eCheck payment from Tacone Consulting was declined by the sender's bank. We will automatically try to process this payment again in 3 business days. It then usually takes 3-5 days for the money to be deposited into your account. Please do not ship items until you receive payment. This company has made a habit out of taking money, cancelling the class, and pocketing the money."

"I took Joe's CCW class in 2012 and loved it! I loved it so much that I brought my wife and sister in-law back for the same class. Joe is a great instructor with an incredible knowledge base. You can tell very quickly that he's passionate about his craft and loves passing important knowledge on to people so they can defend themselves against harm. I highly recommend TAC*ONE Consulting. "***update*** Since leaving a review here, on yelp and filing a complaint with the BBB our money has been refunded, finally. 7/31/2017 All 5 star reviews? Looks a little skewed. Here's one to give a difference in opinion, not just the "same old" praise. As far as teaching, yes, they're great. But be careful!!! My husband andI have been trying to get money refunded that they owe us for quite a while now! First we were double charged for our second class with them. Promised to refund it, but never did. Claimed there was some reason or another that it wouldn't go through. So we found another class we wanted to take. They put that money towards the third class and charged us the difference (gave us a discount for the trouble). But the third class got rescheduled. Then, we drove out to where it wad supposed to be held, on the rescheduled date. But nobody was there! Turns out Joe was just about to hop on a plane out of state. We were never notified. So, we decided we just wanted our money back. I sent an email to Kayla on June 28th. Got no response. My husband sent Joe a text. He finally got a response. Joe said he would refund us our money. On July 13th Joe sent my husband a message stating he'd processed the refund and it would take 2-3 days to go through. Here we are, the end of July (far more than 2-3 days) and STILL no refund!!! And nothing being done or offered to do to correct it."
