The Hotel Telluride

"I recently stayed at Hotel Telluride, and it exceeded all expectations. The shuttle service was impressively efficient, promptly picking us up from the gondola after a day of skiing. The lobby's warm and cozy ambiance added to the overall inviting atmosphere. The view from the rooms are exceptional. The two outdoor hot tubs near the fitness center were a delightful way to unwind, offering a perfect post-ski relaxation spot. A special mention goes to Laura from the front desk, who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Her personal assistance and proactive approach, especially when our luggage arrived on a later flight to Montrose airport, truly made our stay memorable. Highly recommended for a top-notch experience."

"Very nice hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff! Laura at the front desk was so nice and even found a great dog sitter, Cali, for us so we could leave the hotel for dinner. The hotel's driver, Tom, was also very nice and helpful. We were running late after a long day in Telluride and couldn't find dinner reservations. Tom "to the rescue" and drove us around town until we found a nice restaurant that could seat us... what service! We will be back!"

"I have had an ongoing billing dispute with The Hotel Telluride for the last 3 months. I was wrongly billed $4998.65 and have gotten zero follow up or engagement from the management group of The Hotel Telluride. It has been incredibly frustrating. I am pursuing a refund via small claims court. I am very disappointed with the response from the managers of The Hotel Telluride and I have reached out directly to Providence Hospitality Partners who operate the hotel. Beyond my poor experience trying to get my refund sorted out, I was pretty shocked with how dated and ordinary feeling the rooms were. The only thing the hotel has going for it is location if you want to be on the west side of town. Decently long walk into the town core though."

"Very disappointing experience at this Hotel. The walls are extremely thin and we could hear entire conversations of the people in the room next to us. I was even woken up by the alarm clock of the room next to us at 5:30am. Then at 7:00 I was woken again because our room was right next door to an intermediary school. The soccer goal was literally 5 feet from our window and balcony. The loud yelling of the children was quite annoying. It would have been impossible to have a peaceful morning on the balcony. When we told the front desk of the noise problems, we were told, “Well there’s only so much room in the Box Canyon.” There was no sympathy of our unexpectedly early mornings in our very expensive room. We had a highly disappointing stay and would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Telluride. Spend your money elsewhere."

"DO NOT BOOK HERE! I had a family emergency and needed to cancel the room 30+ days out. They said they do not provide refunds and didn't even offer to let me have a credit or rebook in the future. They are taking $291 from me. How is this ethical or legal? Crooked people own this place!!!!!!"
