"Highly recommend private lessons and rentals at Colfax Academy. Their staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. We especially loved violin lessons with Stephane B for our 10 yr old. She is kind, patient, and very talented. Lessons were well paced and she taught in a way that allowed my son to grow steadily and not feel overwhelmed. She also helped him gain the confidence to perform in orchestra. We are very grateful for her!"

"I'm almost 40 years old and learned a little bit of guitar and ukulele on my own, but finally decided to stop by and sign up for lessons. I felt comfortable with basic chords and strumming, but wanted to take my skills to the next level. I was paired with Sean King, who is a "strings" instructor, and he has been amazing. I have already learned a ton about guitar, ukulele, and music theory, and Sean has given me a lot of tips and tricks that he wished he knew when he was learning. While I'm sure the majority of students at the academy are kids, my experience as an adult learner has been great."
