"During our first visit, she literally shouted at me for not recognizing the visual signs of a certain mouth ailment in my dog, which her tone of voice made sound quite serious -- then later stated that she did not know the name of the ailment -- "but they talk about cancer" -- and sold me a $16 bottle of dog mouth-cleanser for it. She spent a lot of the brief exam time specifically criticizing other local veterinarians, and then recommended a blood test for $200 which turned out to be unnecessary. I showed the vet the supplement I had been giving my dog and she looked at it and said, "This isn't good -- look, the first ingredient is glycerine, which is sugar." This is just plainly incorrect; glycerine is not sugar or any form of sugar. During a phone call when I asked about obtaining medications for my dog's painful joint condition from a less expensive source, she gave a long speech on "corporations ruining everything for local people". When I asked her to confirm that her answer was "no" to writing a prescription so that I could save some money, she became angry, said (verbatim), "I'd say find another vet!" and literally hung up the phone. I stand by all of the above as factually accurate. I told her I would not be needing her services any longer."
