Gondolier Italian Eatery - Longmont

"I always pass by this place and finally decided to try it via delivery. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews first. I ordered the spaghetti figuring it would be a safe bet for an Italian spot, but I was so wrong, it was absolutely terrible. The noodles were huge! Definitely not spaghetti, and they came insanely over-cooked and over-all off on texture. If you can't home-make it properly, just buy it as a dry good. It would probably save you time, taste better, and be cheaper anyways. Especially seeing as this is a consistent complaint. The tomato sauce wasn't any good either, overly sweet and generic like it came from a can. The only flavor I got was tomato paste and sugar. Honestly, store-bought prego would have been better. At the end of this meal i wished i would have gotten noodles and co. I would have been more satisfied at half the cost. Save your money folks, this place is definitely not worth it. Gondolier, do better"

"We ordered some garlic bread to start. The garlic bread was very basic and had no real garlic on it, just garlic powder. I would not prefer it again. I had the Spicy Tuscan. It was spicy and full of flavor. My son had the classic spaghetti with a meatball. The noodles were great, but the sauce was just okay and the meatball was extra. The waitress was pleasant and checked in a few times."

"Is the chef Italian?? Pasta was over cooked and not salted. My “spicy Italian sauce” was neither spicy nor Italian. To improve the flavor of our pasta - we ordered sides of the other sauces (sweet italian, Alfredo) sweet italian was okay, Alfredo was not. Everything we order was tasteless or not Italian tasting. Even extra red chili pepper and salt didn’t help. We left most of our food. I should have heeded to the other reviews and skip this place. I usually, hate wrti g these kinds of reviews. But just don’t want customers wasting their hard earned money on no quality food. I hope they read this and make some changes to their menu. Pic of food we left behind."

"Absolutely love this place! I never get spaghetti and meatballs out, as I believe I can make it better but with the Gondolier’s homemade pasta, sauce and meatballs it is amazing! That’s right HOMEMADE PASTA who does that anymore?! I am also in love with the perfect chicken parmigiana with the right amount of crispy breading and the amazing slightly spicy marinara sauce. We got lasagna, chicken parmigiana, garlic knots, spaghetti and meatballs, and pizza with a perfect thin but chewy crust! This place is a must try if you are in Longmont or Boulder. Oh… and we were in town visiting for three days and went back two days in a row! It is that good!"
