"Buckle up, kiddos, because I get wordy. Either society decided that perms are back (or I got sick of waiting since 1989) and I chose Halie at Twisted Shears to take on the project. I cannot express how happy I am with the end result and the service at Twisted Shears. From the moment I walked in, the place was welcoming and friendly (think My-T-Sharp Barbershop in Coming to America, but less talk of Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier). ;) The fact that it's family-owned seeps into the atmosphere. The pros at Twisted Shears truly know their craft. Halie loves hair (she loves the people under the hair, too). She listens! I have a lot of hair....a LOT. I've been to so many stylists who are afraid of my hair and/or messing it up and Halie took my perm idea and ran with it. I liked my hair before, but I absolutely love it now. I highly recommend Twisted Shears to anyone looking for a top-notch barber/stylist experience- a place where they know what they're doing and how to make their clients feel like they're a part of the place. If Cheers were a barbershop, it'd be Twisted Shears. Kudos to the Thomas (owner), Halie (my perm afficianado), and the team at Twisted Shears for their commitment to their art, love of hair, and love of the people who love the 80's (okay, to the people who love all decades of hair styling)- stay rad!"
