"First time visit, some of the trails were cement. Lots of picnic areas. Been driving by for years but never stopped. We'll definitely be exploring the area in the future."

"Nice park with tons of trails and plenty of lakes and ponds to enjoy. I have the state park pass so I didn’t pay directly for entry, but I think it’s worth a visit just to enjoy some nature in relative peace (not a ton of people around on a beautiful 70 degree day). It is near the highways though, so car noise is a thing but it wasn’t too bad overall. A nice place to spend a few hours."

"Very pretty area with all the ponds around it and quiet for being close to i25. Not much for hiking, but for someone who struggles with elevation changes this would be a great area to walk. Personally, I wish there was a little more to do, but worth a visit and a repeat stay for sure."

"Above average RV sites with a lot of space between sites and quite a few sit right on a pond. Trails are plentiful and the park is very clean. No visitor center and no dog park that we saw. My rating is due to the constant road noise from I-25 which is literally in your “backyard” and it’s 24/7/365. It nullifies the beauty of the location. If you’re looking for RV sites to access Denver try Cherry Creek or Chatfield State Parks. There is some road noise at both however much less than at St. Vrain State Park - and we can say this having been at both, camping, the past two weekends (Sept of 2023)."

"Nice place for a day. But right along a hwy. Noisy, but great for getting back on the road & for a pit stop. Not great for a vacation spot. Public bathrooms were really dirty for only being early afternoon. Went last year & that is a change I saw this time. Much cleaner last year."
