Evergreen Mountain Sports

"This place is why people order from Amazon. I placed two orders to be picked up in store, one on February 26th and one on February 27th. The first order was for a sale item at a great price. I received confirmation emails stating "We received your order and are working on it now. We’ll contact you as soon as it is ready for pickup." Crickets. On March 4th I called for an update and was told they hadn't even submitted the orders. The person on the phone said they would contact the owners and let them know about the orders. Crickets. On March 11th I again called for an update and was told the items had been ordered and should arrive in the next few days. On March 15th I received a notification from paypal stating my money for the sale item was being refunded because the item was OUT OF STOCK!! We're talking about a mountain bike cassette that weighs less than 2 lbs and can be ordered from hundreds of online vendors, including many where I watched sale prices come and go while waiting for my order. And again, this notification came from paypal, I still hadn't received any communication from Evergreen Mountain Sports, and I still don't know anything about the 2nd order so I emailed and demanded a refund for that too. Looking through the reviews I see I am not the only one to deal with the ineptitude of Evergreen Mountain Sports' ownership, especially regarding online orders. They should remove the option from their website, or just get out of the business entirely since they obviously do not care about their customers, or are at the very least suffering from severe communication and organization allergies. This is the closest bike shop to my house, I have purchased items in store (and would have purchased more when picking up my orders), but I will not be shopping there again and I encourage everyone to look elsewhere."

"I placed an online order for 4 items, totaling nearly $100. After a couple days of no update or communication from the vendor, I emailed requesting status. No response. I waited a few more days and emailed again. Still no response. Couple more days went by before I checked their website on my order and see that it has suddenly (and without reason or notice) been cancelled. All this transpired without hearing one word from the vendor. My advice: stay far, far away from Evergreen Mountain Sports!"
