"The owner of this establishment considers himself a community leader, but does he really know what being a leader is? I suggest to this community that someone else should be. In 2022 Northpoint was hit with a lawsuit for not having a marked handicap parking parking spot, as has been required by law for decades. He has been in business for decades also. What he did to show his community leadership at the time was to whine to the Durango Herald that he was a victim and his long -time buddy's at the herald were more than happy to pander to his obvious flawed thoughts. Of course he isn't a victim. He was wrong and failed to demonstrate an example of integrity when he had this perfect opportunity to show contrition and be on the correct side of the issue. You know: Lead by example. Money doesn't make a leader and he proves this at many of his business holdings in this town. If you have a house on 2nd and 3rd Street, anywhere along the north Main Street corridor, near one of his apartment buildings, you have a legitimate grievance against this so-called victim. Go look for yourself. Where are the real leaders in this town? I apologize for him to every person with a physical disability that he was not willing to accept responsibility."

"Very nice people working here. Can answer your questions but was surprised when they told me if I wanted anything different than what they had on the floor it would take a year to get it. In other words if you want a different color or say you wanted 2 chairs and they only had 1, your looking at a year to get it. Guess we’ll have to keep looking or settle for a color we don’t want at a price that seems kind of high."
