"Demi was awesome!!! Not only did I get one of the best shaggy bobs of my life (inspired by Ramona flowers), but I also loved the experience overall. Salons are often a source of social anxiety for me - but it's clear that Demi has carefully curated a space that's fit for all. It's calm, quiet, and they are understanding and very easy to talk to. My roommate went to them as well a while ago, and told me they enjoyed that they didn't feel judged for not wanting to chat. It was a relaxing and fun experience, in addition to being high quality. "Demi is absolutely fantastic. I got a full color service and short hair cut. I left feeling so seen and understood and love my hair more than I can even explain. I discovered Talking Hairs through a search for “queer haircut” and I was not disappointed!! My hair fits my needs and I feel so confident. The studio was quiet and clean. I deal with anxiety especially in new situations but Demi made me feel extremely comfortable. She asked about accommodations before the appointment and continued to check in with me through out the haircut and color service.. I will definitely be scheduling with Demi in the future!"
