"Overall not bad, place more for small kids ( they have toys inside for babies). But at the same time they sit for grown kiddos, but then... toys are for very small kids. For the price they take, which is a simple cut, I should pay for service. Toys could be updated ( if not to buy, go to the market place and have it for free. Many people give away for free"
"Pigtails & Crewcuts in Northfield is awesome for kids!! I took my son for his first haircut, and I am appreciative of the stylist, Kaitlin, who had patience of Job and gave my son an excellent first hair cut!! The whole toddler salon is very kid-friendly and child oriented, form the car seats where my son had his hair cut to all the little activity tables and separate activity room, this place cannot be beat! Will be going again for sure!!"
"Today we decided to get our 2yro hair cut. We were running late and told the person that answered the phone we were gonna be 10min late. She seemed annoyed and told us to try to be only 5min late. When we arrived our hairdresser was rushing our daughter who was already nervous and not allowing her a chance to relax before she started to spray her hair. She also kept making comments about us being late and how we should have had her come without her hair braided. I understand we were late and maybe should have came with clean straight hair, but the comments by talking through our daughter for us to hear were unnecessary. There was no one in the shop behind us and there was another chair open for a walk in. No other people showed up until we were paying. My daughter did end up calming down but with the negative energy and being impatient, we almost left. We were hoping for a much different experience for our first time and are sad it went so crazy. We probably won’t go back. :-("
"Wonderful experience! My son (20 months) is not a fan of getting his haircut, despite this being his 5th haircut so far (he was born with a ton of hair and it just keeps growing!) This establishment is so fun and they did such a good job with him, even through his tears! Highly recommend. We will be back!"
"Jenn and Jennifer took care of my 2 and 4 year old. My 4yo has super thick hair which is difficult to blend and my 2yo screamed and squirmed the whole time. These ladies made the process easier than I thought possible and both boys came out looking sharp."
