"Sad to say I had a horrible experience here with a color correction that I am still trying to recover from almost a year later. I came in to see Ella after I had had my hair colored soft pink and was unhappy with it. I told her I would be happy with a chestnut brown and she insisted I needed to go TWO SHADES darker on recently bleached hair. When I walked out my hair was PITCH BLACK. She assured me it would fade over time. It did not. I had to go to another stylist who actually knew what they were doing and she ended up having to lift the black out which caused more damage and turned my hair orange, which we then toned but regardless it’s been a nightmare all year where I have spent hundreds of dollars with other stylists chopping the damage and color correcting the roots so it doesn’t look so awful while it grows out. I’ve also spoken with many stylists who said she could have done about 10 other things to get my hair closer to where I wanted it and that dyeing it black was basically the worst thing she could have done. Also I asked her to leave a peak a boo section so I could have some remnant of the pink left. She forgot and painted right over it. I can’t express enough how much I regret going to this appointment instead of waiting to see an experienced color correction specialist. The only reason I went was because she had an opening and I was about to leave town. I do not recommend trusting this stylist with your color correction. This experience destroyed my confidence for the last year. Make your hair decision slowly and wisely it takes much longer to grow it back than you think it will."
