"New Zealand-style pies! Never been here before. Originally was headed for Chocolaterie Stam which was a few doors down. I hadn't had breakfast yet and tried this place out with my partner. Max who was working there was most excellent giving information on where the pies are made as well as a little history of what he knew about New Zealand. As for the food I got myself the bacon, cheese and egg pie. Absolutely delicious the pie was flakey it had a bold bacon flavor throughout without being super greasy and the eggs were perfectly scrambled. Pies come frozen or warmed up. Had to have one warmed up. The building had a nice seating area with seating outwardly looking the side and front windows out looking the street with music coming from a portable speaker which In my opinion set the mood just a bit better not to quite not to loud. Would definitely come here again when in need of a date place or in need of a pie."

"Tip Top Pies is a Lafayette favorite. The steak and cheese is a go-to pie. Steak and ale a 2nd favorite. They now have an artichoke spinach that was amazing. It is a small shop to get hot to eat or frozen to take home. Deffinetly get some frozen. You will dream about that flaky crust and be glad you did. Awesome outdoor eating area in downtown Lafayette."

"I shared a pie with Bacon, Egg and Cheese and also a Steak and Ale pie. The pastry was well made and both pie options tasted great. Coffee is good too, so will be recommending to friends and coming back too"

"Say this place on Eater for best pies in the Denver metro area for savory pies. I was very intrigued. Finally stopped buy to buy a variety. Bought a bunch of the breakfast and other meat pies. The biggest stand outs were sausage roll, New Zealand meat green chili breakfast pie. All pies were simple to heat at home. They all came out super flaky and tasty. They have a points for making purchases that go to rewards. You can also eat there in the small space and offer sweet New Zealand ice cream. Will be back to try sweet pies and get more of the savory for my freezer."

"The flavors are good! As part of an American/Australian couple, we are very familiar with meat pies. Pros: The flavor of these are pretty good! Cons: It’s expensive for what it is. These are maybe $5 in Australia, yet $11 here. The pastry is a little damp inside - it’s been frozen and somehow reheated. We asked for tomato sauce and the employee gave us 3 ketchup packets and said that’s all he had. It would be tasty if the owners import some good tomato sauce to go with the pies! Note last photo for the idea…"
