CVS Pharmacy

"CVS pharmacy is a joke. Employee did not care that medications were not being filled in a timely manner (within 24 hours) and was not willing to help individuals. Had us call our insurance 3x to verify the prescription. The insurance representative even wanted to talk to the gentlemen but he laughed and walked away. While our daughter was in pain he was not willing to help and based on other people in line, they were having the same issue. Not professional."

"While I’m empathetic with the staff that CVS is understaffing the pharmacy, it makes it completely ineffectual. Even worse is the complete non-communication. I come to CVS because my pharmacy benefit is managed by CVS. I’m penalized with higher prices if I use any other pharmacy. Both pharmacists I’ve interacted with here have been completely dismissive. They’re turning over techs so fast that the techs I interact with are all still training and cannot handle any of my issues. For some reason the prescriptions my doctor sends in have frequently been placed on hold by CVS. There is no communication from CVS when this happens. They just put the prescription on hold and when I check the app for details I eventually find out it is on hold. The app tells me to call the pharmacy. Every time I call the pharmacy I’ve waited on hold for 35-75 minutes without anyone picking up. The blasé pharmacist says they don’t answer the phone ever if anyone is in line at the store. I have not been able to get anyone to pick up since this summer. If I need to talk to someone I have to go to the store during low-visit hours. I have then been referred to the central pharmacy at least once, whom then tells me I need to call the original store to sort things out. Well, ya can’t do that when they won’t answer the phone! CVS corporate— I will be complaining. You need to fix the problem you’re creating in the metro area."

"As many of the reviewers below, I cannot stress how difficult it is to work with this pharmacy!! At the pharmacist with curly hair and glasses, this man always has an attitude and has such a hostile attitude towards us as consumers. I’ve tried to reason with him over the phone but he always ends up with some excuse of ‘sorry we are short staffed’. CVS corporate needs to get involved here. There’s been multiple times when the pharmacy is CLOSED and even Target employees inside the store seem confused as to why this is happening too often recently. I hope things change for the better soon."

"I cannot stress this enough, this is the WORST pharmacy you’ll ever encounter. The people who work here clearly hate their jobs. They are rude or short with you on a consistent basis…and their service sucks. Expect to wait forever just to pick up your prescriptions - things move at a snail’s pace. I’m transferring all of my scripts away from here, I am DONE. I am 10000000% confident you will have the same experience but don’t take my word for it - see for yourself."

"The absolute worst pharmacy I’ve ever encountered.Avoid it! Where do I start? 1) They messed up my prescription repeatedly. My doctor had to call it in 3 times! (2) They never answer the phone. (3) They tell you prescription will be ready at a specific time when it isn’t. (4) The pharmacist regularly complains to customers about how CVS doesn’t staff the pharmacy sufficiently and how overworked he is. (I worry that these issues will contribute to a serious error in preparing a prescription.)"
