Walgreens Pharmacy

"I've had repeated issues with this Walgreens Pharmacy being unreliable. On multiple occasions, they've closed without any prior notice, leaving me unable to pick up my essential medications. This uncertainty is not only inconvenient but also stressful, as I'm left waiting to see if they'll open the next day. I also have to go through the hassle of transferring my prescription to another location, which involves more waiting for the prescription to be fulfilled. Such inconsistency in service is unacceptable, especially for a pharmacy where people rely on timely access to their medications."

"Went online to check this locations availability for a Covid / flu test. The website stated the earliest appointment would be 2:15pm , I proceeded to call the store (the automatic voice system was not transferring me where I needed). After awhile , I began to feel bad enough where I got up and drove to location. The lady at the counter was so insensitive , nonchalant, and non helpful. Repeatedly told me they could not give me a Covid / flu test and that I’d have to buy the store bought Covid test which wouldn’t include the needed flu test I needed. I ended up leaving in pain , went directly to the Walgreens ( 300 Federal) not only did they swing me in earlier than what their website stated , they were very sympathetic and kind. This Walgreens needs to pick a struggle , already gives ghetto vibes from all the homeless and tweakers outside and now having rude pharmacists"

"Kinda ghetto but they recently got a security guard so its a bit better. Had some rough interactions with folks outside in the past lol. Many times I’ve been paying while watching folks just walk out the door w a buncha stuff."

"Ugh. Nothing like filling your prescription online only to find out that the pharmacist has “personal issues”. (Not the first time) Now to spend the next hour trying to find another Walgreens to fill my prescription. So unreliable."

"I do not leave one star reviews lightly. And this review is not aimed at the store -- the store manager and the people who work there are lovely. But the pharmacy is a train wreck. I went to ick up anti nausea medication today for my 89-year old mother who is undergoing chemo. The woman at the counter told me the prescription would be ready in 2.5 hours. When I explained the circumstances and asked if they could speed up the process to accommodate a suffering old lady, she said they could speed it u by about fifteen minutes. She gave two reasons: (1) there were a lot of prescriptions ahead of hers in the to-be-filled queue; and (2) EVERYONE who works at the pharmacy was going to lunch in 22 minutes, and their lunch break is 30 minutes. Maybe everyone leaves for lunch at the same time in Spain and Greece. But those are failing economies. That's not a good way to run a business. Neither is having no ability to depart from standard practice to accommodate a dying old lady who need to not be nauseated. We will move all of my mom's very expensive prescriptions (the co-pay alone is $350/day) to a pharmacy where the workers care more about serving their customers than they do about their lunch break in 22 minutes. So by my calculation, this employee's singular focus on her lunch break cost that pharmacy at least $10,000 a month in my mom's co-pays. Maybe if the pharmacy loses enough customers like her, they'll have to lay off some employees who can then enjoy more free time than just their 30-minute lunch break."
