"We've done two culinary tours with this company. The first one, in Italy, was well organized and represented an excellent value. However, the second one, in Greece, was very much a disappointment -- poorly organized, substandard accommodation and very bad value for the amount paid. We tried to rectify the situation during the trip but honesty not much was done to improve our tour during the actual trip. They did give us nominal cash compensation afterwards but it really did not make up for our bad experience. We generally are fairly forgiving/understanding travelers (particularly after the disruption to the travel industry caused by the pandemic) but not sure whether we will book with them again."
"We have used Epitourean twice. We could not be more pleased with them. On both occasions we had issues with personal, timing or Pandemic issues and had to delay/cancel/change dates. Epitourean was always patient, understanding and accommodating. Both cooking schools we attended went beyond our expectations in terms of setting, accommodations, attention, service and the related excursions. They were simply a lot of fun! Learning some cooking skills was an added bonus. We definitely recommend strongly considering any cooking tour offered by Epitourean. We are confident they will please you."
"I have used Epitourean 3 times so far and each trip has been a delight. A chance to experience local culture, food, and wine in a small group format with a lot of attention paid to all the details that make a trip memorable. I have been to the trip in Puebla, for the Day of the Dead festivities in 2021, Piedmont for the alba truffle hunt in 2022 , and most recently to Santa Barbara in 2023.’i always leave full not only with food and wine, but great memories, and new friends. I plan to travel with them again as soon as I can."
