Each day was planned with forethought into showing us as much as we could hope to see, accommodations were fantastic - a mix of rustic and resort style that we had requested - and certainly nothing we’d be able to find ourselves. Our driver became part of our family and we felt safe, secure, and overjoyed at every possible turn. Africa was an amazing experience and Astrid from African Eyes Travel couldn’t have been a better gateway to this wonderful trip."

"Where to begin. My friend "won" an African Safari at a charity auction. When she began planning with Astrid, Astrid immediately began up selling her and quickly planned a South African trip for an additional 10K per person. I told my friend that was nuts and was only interested in going to the game preserve that she "won". After a lot of back and forth (my friend has trouble saying no) we agreed to stay longer and also do Kruger National Park. Astrid talked my friend into leaving the preserve early (even though we paid for the 6 days in the package that was "won"). Astrid told my friend that she would book as a lodge "in Kruger National Park". We get to the lodge (after the lodge forgot we were coming and failed to pick us up at the airport) and we find out that we are no where near Kruger National Park. It was 30 miles away! I feel the package that was donated was just a ploy to up sell people. We well over paid for what we got. Very disappointing. If you do "win" a trip to South Africa for a Safari, stick to your guns and don't let Astrid pressure you into spending a ridiculous amount of money. I feel we were over charged by a good $400 per person."

"We had no idea what to expect as we had never traveled to this part of the world. Astrid made the entire trip seemless, she sent us with all of the information, clear and orderly. We always knew what was next, when, where and were greeted warmly upon arrival to all of our destinations. We will be back. And African Eyes will be our agency again.
