"Desperate and stuck at a crossroads, with a major I-70 shutdown on the way to Vail, my family and I were scrambling to find a last minute hotel for the night. Miraculously we were able to find Colorado Bear Creek Cabins; they welcomed us warmly, and worked tirelessly through the snow storm to clear the pathways and driveway. The cabins were a warm and cozy safe haven, with all the comforts of home. The setting is absolutely stunning on the creek, and is in close proximity to red rocks amphitheater and town. We will definitely be back, and recommending to friends and family alike."

"We reserved a cabin on the website. Upon calling days before our scheduled vacation, we found out they lost our reservation. We had to end up staying in a different cabin than the one we wanted. We stayed 5 nights but if we could have gotten a refund, we would have left after the first night. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed we had ever slept in, the wall heater did not work, the coffee pot did not work and the walls are so thin we could here our neighbors talking. Worst place we had ever stayed!"
"The best way to describe this place is nature with fully loaded cabins. From pots and pans to coffee in a mason jar all the way to charcoal provided for grilling, not one detail was missed. Well done Hoelscher family, we will be back!! PS.. love the nostalgic keys. Reminds me of my childhood."
"We had a really lovely one night stay at one of their small cabins. It was very clean, cozy, and comfortable, and just what we needed for a quick getaway. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. We look forward to returning in the future."
