"After informing the waitstaff that I was displeased with the appetizer, she immediately, unapologetically blurted out that it was a best seller of the restaurant, as if that should invalidate my experience of their food. The main course for both me and my dining partner were rather underwhelming. The only saving grace was a well-made cocktail. I expect more from the purveyors, considering their background."
"This was our second visit in a week. A fantastic venue for a small community. Met the owners who are personable, welcoming and gracious. Kelsey has a great sense of humor & the ideal personality to serve a discerning clientele. I initially ordered the ribs (one of the 3 entrees on that week’s menu). They were out and substituted a delicious ribeye served on a bed of mashed potatoes, gravy & kelp. Started the meal with a bowl of clam chowder and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Our first visit was just as satisfying and demonstrated their consistency and reliability. Don’t miss the Mill Street Bistro if you’re in the area."
"What a wonderful place! My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary with dinner and the food and ambience were amazing. We had calamari and homemade bread for an appetizer which was wonderful. Our entrees were steak tacos and seared scallops with mushrooms and sweet potatoes and a delicious sauce. For dessert, we had creme brûlée with fresh raspberries. For drinks, we had a pale ale and a mojito. We had an amazing time! Thank you for everything!"
