About the Business

Ramen Star

Located at 4044 Tejon Street in Denver, Colorado, Ramen Star is a top-rated ramen restaurant that has been nominated for Toast's Top 20 Ramen shop in the US. We pride ourselves on offering world-class ramen and a new ramen culture to our customers. Our goal is to elevate the standard of ramen in Colorado by serving homemade noodles and broth made with passion.

Please note that the last order may be earlier than closing time, depending on the day. Our online and take-out pick-up times are until 2:15 pm for lunch and 9:15 pm for dinner. During meal times, the wait for cooking and third-party delivery may increase significantly, especially during busy dinner times and cold days. Ordering during off-hours can help decrease the wait time.

At Ramen Star, we make our noodles in-house using an imported Japanese noodle press to ensure the perfect texture. Our signature broth is Colorado's richest and most authentic Tokyo-style ramen, free of chemical preservatives and MSG. Cooked for over three days with premium ingredients, our broth is flavorful without being too salty.

We appreciate your support and understanding as we continue to grow and make changes that will benefit our customers and employees. Come experience the freshest noodles in town and enjoy our delicious ramen at Ramen Star!

"We have lived here for about a year now, this is by far our most favorite Ramen restaurant. The Takoyaki is something I dream about on a monthly basis. The best I’ve had in Colorado. My partner always gets the Ramen Star, and is always impressed. I get something new every time as my entree, but ALWAYS get the Takoyaki. The servers are always so kind and attentive. We love it here."

"You can taste the love at Ramen Star. Noodles made in house have the perfect texture. Chashu pork melts in your mouth. Broth is thick, rich and fulfilling. In my humble opinion, one of the best bowls of ramen in Denver without a doubt. Restaurant is comfortable and features a well appointed sake menu. All of the passion put into Ramen Star shines through the experience. Can’t wait for my next bowl."

"4.5/5. Giving the restaurant 5 stars for Google due to some great service and a great atmosphere in my opinion. This joint was really great. I loved the vibe and the service was very friendly and helpful. The ramen was also really great, and I like the twist this spot takes in creating their own unique broth (chicken and pork based). I originally came here to try their Tsukemen since I haven't seen it around Denver in ramen joints before and left very satisfied. It's definately beaten out a few spots I've tried in other, larger cities. I also tried their signature ramen and was also really happy with it. It's not the taste I'd go for every night but it's a fun and unique flavor. This place ready stands out with it's homemade noodles in my opinion. Very good and some of the best I've had in Denver. I'd consider trying to buy their noodles and making my own broth at home if I ever find the need to try making my own ramen. Overall I'm really happy with the spot and I hop business is going well for them. There weren't a ton of people in the restaurant when I dined in on a Friday night, but they definitely deserve it in my opinion."

"As a Japanese, I must say that they had the worst tsukemen ever. First of all, it smelled bad (the smell of bad pork). The broth was super greasy and oily. I almost threw up. Broth should be broth and not 80% oil. The noodles tasted like gum. I wasted $30 which I could've eaten better things. The service was good. But other than that, I don't recommend this place."

"I revisited this place on Dec 13, 2021 and experienced the same friendly service. We came a little early, but the door was unlocked and we were greeted warmly and seated. I love visiting a place where I feel like they are happy working there and happy to serve me. The interior looked upgraded from my last visit. I loved the flooring and the wood panel on the wall. There was a big screen over the top of the kitchen entrance that had ambient coloring changing screens. The food and service was awesome as usual. Pricing seemed more expensive than my last visit, but since the pandemic, it's been my experience in other restaurants as well. I liked that the employees were masked."
