"Where do I begin? About 4 years ago we took our 2001 Workhorse box truck to RMTC for basic maintenance. Overall a decent experience until we drove off and headed to an emissions test, which we failed. We brought it back to RMTC to find out that they had the spark plug wires mixed up. Ok…honest mistake…so we thought. This past summer of 2023 the truck didn’t start so we called around and decided to use RMTC to have a service call. The starter was clearly shot. The service tech spent 2 hours to determine this and they searched around town for a new starter. Found one, installed it (of course charged me for his drive to a from the shop to purchase it) and it STILL wouldn’t start. Had to tow it at this point. Blake the service manager calls me after a few days to tell me that “they didn’t need to install a new starter at all, it just needed a charge”. Wow, ok, the service tech didn’t think to check that? So we ended up paying over $2000 for this. But we have a new starter so we think we’re good. 3 weeks later it doesn’t start again. Starter is burnt out again. They sent a service tech out who was adamant that the flywheel was the issue this time. They tow it at no charge and determine that they INSTALLED THE WRONG STARTER! Yes, the wrong starter that did not match our VIN! How this is possible is unknown to me. So of course they knew they had to pay for it. We picked it up assuming it was all good. 4 weeks later it doesn’t start AGAIN! Get it towed again. This time they said there was a bolt missing that “must have fallen out” and caused the starter to fall out of place. So they put in a new bolt and we again, assume we’re good. Each time we take it in I ask them to check other things to be sure it’s not something more than just the starter. They refuse to do so and are confident it’s just the starter. 2 weeks later guess what? Doesn’t start again! After 3 cranks the starter sounds like it explodes. They tow it again. I again ask them to check other things besides the starter. They send the starter back to Workhorse and Workhorse says they won’t warranty it because it’s “self inflicted”. Well yeah it’s self inflicted because the truck won’t start so the starter gets burnt out!!! Common sense. It takes them 6 weeks to get any sort of response. Blake continues to ignore my calls and emails. Finally Djay gets involved and as he works on the starter the tumbler falls apart. While installing the new ignition he determines that the actuator rod from the parking break is broken. He is “100% confident” this was the issue the entire time! But Blake still refuses to call me back to discuss the fact that I will not pay for the new starter because there is no reason we should be in this position if they actually attempted to diagnose the issue in the first place. We go to take the truck and pay for it and they still refuse to remove the starter charge. Djay agrees that Blake is a coward and not willing to fess up, which we appreciate. Djay cuts everything down to cost and reduces labor charges which help the cost. We tell them we’re never coming back and that we’re taking it directly to another shop to a 2nd opinion. We drive off the lot and realize the speedometer, tach and odometer don’t work! I call Djay and Blake immediately and leave messages for 3 days. They refuse to call me back! I email Blake 3 times. He still refuses to respond or call me. Pathetic to say the least. Finally Blake emails after 5 days and says they won’t be responsible for the cost to fix the speedometer, etc. Wow really!?? The new shop determines that the plus cluster was simply unplugged!!! Yet they refused to take the blame! Because yes we unplugged the cluster as we drove it off their lot! Fortunately the new shop went above and beyond to take care of us and then found 4 more issues that were causing the truck to not start! 4 more issues that RMTC refused to even attempt to diagnose! Blake the service manager is the most incompetent and horrible customer service tech I have ever dealt with."

"1/15/24 Said they would be out in 3 hours or less to fix a really bad air leak on a trailer, but never showed up and never called to explain. My company reached out to them again the following morning and they again said they would be out within 3 hours. Well, 3 hours came and went and still a no-show. No communication, No apology and absolutely no concern for taking care of the customer. This is not a place you want to rely on if you are in need. Plenty of other options out there, so don't waste your time on this place."

"CALL 2M MOBILE DIESEL REPAIR If you are within 200 miles of Lamar Colorado. You will still save money and get MUCH better service. Called them with broken serpentine belt 30 minutes away from them, their tech took less than 5 minutes to discover the AC compressor was locked up. Then I spent atleast 30 minutes waiting on their $900. bill to clear the mobile app they use. I then ordered and paid for a compressor to be delivered to them by 11am in the morning. numerous call to see when the tech would arrive, but only hours later after I called 2M Mobile repair and their tech called Rocky Mountain to see about getting the part I then was told the tech was on his way. Angel from 2M Mobile repair still stopped by to check the situation out and ended up doing the repair because he knew RMTC tech would not be able to get us on the road. RMTC still charged another $745. Trust me, I know from experience, Call 2M MOBILE DIESEL REPAIR Lamar Colorado."
