"I thought this would be a mediocre two or three-star review about Firestone's poor time management and lack of responsiveness, dropping my vehicle off for an alignment and (maybe) a little work, and being constantly delayed and jerked around until the end of the next day. Instead, I found out that I was charged/quoted DOUBLE or TRIPLE the retail cost for parts, paying hundreds more dollars than if I purchased the exact same serialized part myself. If anything, the mechanic should save money on part orders and pass the savings on to the consumer, making money off labor, not mark-ups. Further, and even more troubling, I checked my engine after driving home and found it filthy, with oil and grime smeared everywhere, an air circulation hose UNCOUPLED and a pair of pliers that are not mine sitting loose in the engine bay. It is miraculous that the pliers didn't fall into the radiator fan assembly (the radiator they told me would fail soon)… It is only my extreme distrust of this company that saved me from an expensive repair, and I am finally, after ten years, DONE dealing with Firestone. If you can't trust your mechanic, you are better off going elsewhere. EDIT: I called back this morning to ask for the documentation of my alignment, the only reason I originally brought my vehicle in, and they told me that it was actually never done. When I asked for a refund for services to make it right, they said the best they could do was maybe a couple hundred dollar refund on the overall cost ($1800). Worthless company."

"This place should be shut down. I brought my vehicle in for tires an alignment and an oil change. They got the tires installed. They pretended to align the tires, but left the lock-nuts on the tie rod adjusters completely loose (a potentiallydeadly mistake). They should have had nothing to do with my coolant system, but in an attempt to fleece more money out of me they put a pressure tester on the system and pumped it so high it compromised my head gasket. Now my truck starts to overheat after a 2 mile drive. That's a $3k repair. I asked for them to make it right. All they said was to bring my vehicle back and they'd do an alignment. I don't want that absolute bunch of retards touching anything of mine ever again. DO NOT GIVE THESE CLOWNS A CHANCE TO DESTROY YOUR VEHICLE!!! They definitely have no idea what they are doing, and they'll charge you top dollar for it. I wanted the tires so I could get to work in the snow, now I can't get to work at all. This place is going to cost me a job, on top of the engine damage they caused."

"Picked up car after they did an all point check as to why power steering wasn’t working. They gave me a new battery and less than 2 hours later, same issue happened-power steering stopped working and my car died in an intersection where another driver hit me and totaled my car. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!"

"Avoid this place!! Service and quality no longer exist here. Just a lot of un trained people with poor attitudes. They gave me some excuse about not finding a key to do my tire rotation but managed to get 3-4 screws off the wheel covers and never replaced them. I still got charged for the tire rotation and had to go back a 2nd time to request a refund. I got home and smelled smoke. I opened the hood and see I'm missing a radiator cap and it's lodged tight between the battery and some hoses. Now I have to go back a 3rd time. Firestone just lost another loyal customer!"
