"I had an urgent issue with my truck and tried this shop since my usual shop wasn’t able to get me in for over a week. Sun valley was able to get me in quickly so I let them take a look. I dropped it off at 8:15 AM and they called me at 9:15 AM, saying I needed a water pump replacement and that they could get it done today. They called me 4 hours later saying it’s all done so I went back in to pick it up and they then told me it would be a different price. I told them my original quote and they did honor it which I very much appreciated. I’ll be coming back to Sun valley again!"

"Jerry and his team are our one-stop shop for our 10-year old Subaru and Honda CRV--and we've been able to stop going to the dealership and paying 3x as much and for services that are dealer recommended that we really don't need. Jerry is our trusted advisor and he's keeping our old vehicles running in top shape. For an oil change, we drop it off by 8am and get it back before Noon with a complete inspection, for a fraction of the dealership cost. He's a mechanic for life!"

"Good, Honest, Knowledgeable Mechanics! I originally came to Sun Valley Automotive on a friends recommendation, so that says something. And now, I will not take my car anywhere else, not even for an oil change.....(in the past) I had taken my car somewhere else I thought was more convenient. Well, the "convenient" place did a quick job, incorrectly, I ended up bringing my car into Sun Valley Automotive when they opened on Monday to double check what the first place did because it was still acting weird. Sun Valley ended up having to replace the part the other place had just put in. When Sun Valley Automotive pulled the part, they gave it back to me, showing me how when the other place put it in they dented it all up and damaged it, thats why I was still having the same problem after leaving the first place....take your car here, it will be in great hands"

"I was hoping this was a good mechanic shop from the decent reviews. It wasn't a good experience for me. I spoke twice, over the phone and in person what I wanted done to my vehicle. They only did one job out of the two, ignoring the other work I needed done on it. They were very unprofessional about a diagnostic on my vehicle they discovered that my other mechanic shop says were wrong and it doesn't need. They further acted like they didn't want to work on my vehicle anymore, but decided when I went to go get my vehicle, to pitch me to one of their 'personal' shops from a buddy of theirs and not at this automotive shop to get the supposed thing done that was needed on the vehicle. They are all over the place and immature. Someone parked and blocked my vehicle at pickup time while standing nearby in a long chat with one of the workers there outside. Overall, the only reason for the one star is that they did one of the two repairs I asked of them, but it was $60 more than the regular price. I would not recommend to friends and family not even for simple work."

"Where do I begin...I had Sun Valley do my front brakes and rotars in January. For several months I had terrible vibration when I used my brakes. Someone finally suggested I take it back, because they should be under warranty. I went in today to have it looked at. When Gere called me, he said it was the rear brake pads that were wrapped and the front was fine. He said he took care of the rear pads and rotars. I asked him how much it was going to cost and he said he took care of it no charge to me. I was speechless!! It was going to be coming out of my Christmas money. Someone was smiling down on me today, to have something and someone be so wonderful to me. You've got a lifetime customer in me!! Thank-you again Sun Automotive for going above and beyond!!"
