"The food wasn’t bad and reasonably priced, but I’ve had better in dive bars. The burger was incredibly salty and I’m a fan of salty and this was too much. But the service and lack of organization was appalling, I wasn’t expecting superb service but this was horrible. With its ties to HyVee you’d think they’d put more emphasis on “customer service”. It was very apparent that the majority of the people dining in were incredibly frustrated. The fountain pop machine was malfunctioning and water was pouring out due to a button being jammed, one of the staff walked past , looked at it and kept on going while a customer was trying to fix it , I had to holler at him to get him to turn around and do his job. Will not be back and also seems to be hyvees theme recently to be declining with service so honestly not sure why I was surprised."
"I ordered the $10 meal deal, cooked medium well. Was not cooked long enough. Burger was placed on a piece of paper on a tray, allowing the grease to totally soak the bottom half of the bun. Fries were good."
"Was just ok. A bit disappointing actually (my first time here). I had a burger and sweet potato tater tots. The burger was just average. The tater tots were so sweet they tasted like sugar had been added."
"Delicious chicken burger with just the right size for it to be enough but not too much, a generous portion of fries included... I added Swiss cheese and made it perfect! Paired it with a Des Moines IPA and was the perfect match. Service was great, felt like home."
