"The plays are great but I would reconsider their day camps for kids. We went only 1 of 5 days. I communicated with staff an accommodation at drop off. Staff didn’t communicate that to the teacher and the teacher got so inappropriately frustrated at my child. If your child needs any accommodation for a disability this staff isn’t for you."

"My granddaughters and I had the most fun afternoon enjoying Seussical! Everything from the staff and cast were outstanding! We look forward to future performances!"

"I would have given this play a 5 star review if it weren’t for the part about pills that they added which can change the way you look. A bird that was literally pulling pills off a pill tree. It would have been more appropriate to use berries that make her tale grow and not pills. I didn’t know I was taking my two kids to a show where they would add such unnecessary drug information, really upsets me. Makes me really think about whether I should continue going to any other shows. Sad that you can’t take your children to what’s supposed to be a play about a Dr. Seuss movie. I don’t usually leave a bad review, but this has really bothered me since I left the show. The actors did great acting, but the storyline killed the review."

"Our family visited the DSM Playhouse’s Children’s theatre for Go, Dogs. Go! and How I Became a Pirate. Our daughters are 7 and 5 and those are the perfect ages for their recommended age range of 5-12. We read these books with them often so it’s fun, as parents, to see the recognition and talk about new characters and differences between the two mediums. I highly recommend making it a family afternoon out! (Sunday matinees are my favorite showtimes!)"
