"I was in the Valley West Mall store this afternoon in West Des Moines IA, in search of the Glitter Butterfly Spiral Notepad which was advertised on the Claire's website for $7.99. It was indicated that the item was available in the Valley West store and that it could be picked up in 2-4 hours. As I live just minutes away, I simply drove over. I was told in no uncertain terms that they are not allowed to honor the website price and that I would need to pay the full price of $12.99. Something does not seem right about that. As a side note, the two young ladies working were more interested in eating their large pizza which was in an open box, front and center, at the register. Customer service surely isn't what it used to be. I left the store and did not purchase the item. Doubt I'll be back."

"I'm so sorry to everyone who had a bad experience there. We are working to fix all the kinks but with staffing so low it's been a problem but we have new team members coming in. I am now the new Store Manager for valley west and I hope to see you all come back and give me a chance to make things right just give me a week or two please. Thanks all for your patience."

"I stopped by during the week and they were closed. There was a sign on the door stating the hours were 11-6. It was 5:45. I came back a few days later and the hours were noted as 11-7. Doors locked! The floor/windows had totes and boxes of things piled up. I can’t even rate my experience with shopping here because they aren’t even open when they say they will be."

"The lady Amy was very rude.my children are of mixed races and one wanted their ear pierced she refused saying she doesn't do that to colored people and go someone where. My child was so sad and crying we has plans of ear piercings and bday present shopping there. Never again will I take my kids their and never will I shop there. Shame on you for being so mean to a 3 year old"
