"Unless you have a simple return, do not get your taxes done at HR block in Coralville IA! I have gone there for years and had a great tax professional but when he retired, I had to have another person do my taxes last year. Even though she had records of how it was done in the past, she still did it wrong. She even had it checked by another person there and it still ended up being wrong. I didn't know until I filed taxes this year that she messed it up. When I came for my appointment this year, they said I didn't have an appointment even though I called in to make it. I had to wait till the tax person did someone else's taxes, then he saw me. He seemed annoyed and stated he was tired of staying late. Then my messed up return from last year he passed on to the person who messed it up last year to fix it, so I had to wait. Then because of her error, I had to deal with them amending my return which now they say I owe money to the IRS for her mistake. When I went to pick up the paperwork, they couldn't even find it. When they finally did find it they said it was "misfiled". They did not seemed concerned that this paperwork has mine and my family's personal information on it! No one apologized or even tried correct the situation, they just treated me rudely because they don't care. So we won't be returning and I recommend that no one else goes there! Very poor customer service and untrained staff."
