"The course's quality took a nosedive after the ownership changed hands a few years ago. The greens need attention, and the grass appears to be on its last legs. Moreover, despite putting in effort, the golf pro seems to lack competence. The Greens have had the same dead spots for the last 3 years; looks like they have done nothing to fix this. The paint in the pro shop and snack bar area is plain and boring. The tan color was better fitting than the bright white. Dirty carts are always out when there is no one there and the staff is lazy and seems lost and makes no effort to make your time better."

"Very nice track! I was in Council Bluffs for a weekend visiting family and wanted to get on the links one last time before it gets cold. I'm not from the area, but every time I come to visit from now on, you can find me at Bent Tree!"
"Fun course to play. I really liked the layout and links course style. The sand traps on the front 9 were rock hard. I'm not sure why. The course was in good condition. Greens were quick but true. A ranger on the course would be nice, and a snack cart would be a nice addition I would play this course again for sure."
