"The facility itself is nice. We have played several basketball tournaments here and they are usually well-run and games stay on time. Walking between courts is difficult, especially when games are going on. This could especially be a problem for handicap accessibility. During a tournament weekend, courts are especially slippery as they do not sweep between games."
"You can't bring your own drinks or food but they have only two small concession stands that were very understaffed ("the kids didn't show up to work"). The diet coke spout was broken, out of iced tea, and don't expect to see any real strawberries or bananas go into the "real fruit smoothies". Keep in mind that you will be spending several hours there for an event. Also, you have to pay $10 per person to watch you kids play after they've already paid dues to their sports clubs."
"This place is incredible! This was our 2nd year to attend NHSVBT Volleyball Nationals Tournament at the Iowa West Field House. The facility was kept in great shape. Plenty of room to maneuver around to get where we needed. Concessions were great and provided plenty of options. Bathrooms were clean. And opened class windows to watch others play pickle ball and practice wrestling during our down time."
