"This clinic went above and beyond for our family. I tested positive for strep and was encouraged to bring our big family back into be tested as well. The way they helped our large family all get tested and stayed late to accommodate us was wonderful!!! We use them often and I will say there is a grouchy older woman doctor that I am not a fan of but everyone else is great!"
"I was THANKFULLY treated by a caring and professional team. I have NO complaints about the care I received. During my wait time I witnessed a RUDE woman yelling at the staff because she had been waiting too long and had things she needed to be doing. This woman also sat in the waiting room not covering her cough or wearing a mask to protect others in the waiting room. The receptionists handled her so professionally. People need to remember they are not any more important than other people waiting."
"We were not aware appointments were needed and my sick 3 year old was turned away from being seen BUT the person behind us in line was “squeezed in” without an appointment. Thank goodness MercyOne Urgent Care helps people. Edit: in response to your reply, the person BEHIND us did NOT have an appointment and was able to get seen but we were not. Virtual appointments were also not working at that time. We will seek care from somewhere willing to help a sick child from now on yours because Unity Point is not that place. Your staff left us sitting in the lobby searching on our own. The lack of compassion was mind blowing."
"NOT AN URGENT CARE! Reservations are required to see a provider. My wife and I were turned away because, although they were open til 4pm and it was only 1pm, we did not have a reservation. Fortunately we were able to get the medical care my wife needed at Mercy Clinic (a real urgent care). You should go to UnityPoint if you want to be treated like a homeless person asking to use the restroom at a fancy restaurant."
"I’ve been here a few times and I’m always impressed with how well the medical staff listens and thoughtfully considers possible causes and treatments. Blood work was done on the spot and I had results in the portal that night, with comments and next steps from the doc by the time I woke up. Plus, everything is easily shared with my primary care doc for follow-up. Such a great option for an emerging situation. And the facility is so nice!"
