"Quoted from Joe Meyer, lead pastor of the church, August 3rd: “God's Word is clear. There is no ambiguity about this issue. The LGBTQ+ movement supports a lifestyle that is neither allowed by God nor advocated or blessed by Him, and therefore as a Christian organization, Thrivent should not advocate for this lifestyle whatsoever.” The bible is nothing but ambiguous. Gods word is not clear. If there was why would there always be different “interpretations” and new versions always written? It’s also interesting to me how you put your “fiduciary responsibilities” over people of your church. Like for example how you won’t allow a funeral service for a lifelong member because he hangs a pride flag from his porch, even though he isnt even gay. Shame on you Joe Meyer."
