Welcome to Theodore's Academy, Preschool & Childcare located at 3680 Glen Ellen Road in Sioux City, Iowa! Founded by Chris Ferry, a grandmother and successful entrepreneur, our institution was created to meet the growing need for quality childcare and preschool education in our community.
At Theodore's Academy, we prioritize the well-being and development of our children and families above all else. Our program, influenced by the HighScope Curriculum, offers developmentally appropriate experiences that promote active learning and goal-setting in various areas such as language, social skills, math, and physical development.
We follow all Department of Human Services guidelines, are part of the 5-2-1-0 Initiative, and are working towards achieving a Quality Rating through QRS. Currently, we are accepting enrollment applications for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years for full-time care.
Our dedicated team, led by On-Site Supervisor and Lead Preschool Teacher Jade Geesaman, is committed to providing a nurturing and educational environment for every child. Our teacher assistants, including Paxi who holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, are passionate about supporting the growth and development of each child in our care.
Enrollment is currently full, but we encourage interested families to contact us to inquire about our waitlist. Discounts are available for families with multiple children or military parents. We prioritize families currently enrolled, so there may be instances where new families are delayed in starting.
