"Friday night, my hubby and I had reservations at Clyde’s Fine Diner on Grand. The chef was a semi-finalist for the James Beard Award - best chef midwest - this past year. Let me tell you all, please go and give it a try. Excellent food, great vibe/atmosphere, wonderful service - and to top it off, the price point is MORE than reasonable. They are doing fun things there. We started with the Caesar Brussels and Marrow with toast points. Both were great but those brussels are heaven. Then we had the house burger (best i’ve had in the metro so far - really great) with fries (crisp, delish - and malt vinegar mayo? omg yes!) and the Hot Bird - spicy, juicy, delicious chicken with greens (kimchi in the greens) and delightful light as air hush puppies. We ended with a special dessert of caramel pound cake and the HOUSE MADE soft serve (seasonal flavor was red velvet, we got the twist). We will be back - without a doubt. I can’t wait for us to try the tuna melt (this sounds like a heightened and beautiful dish according to the menu description) and SEVERAL other things."

"Original review - the Buffalo sweetbreads were amazing!! Cocktails and service (and other foods) were great as well. Updated : we have been multiple times, food and service are always great. We went last night and thoroughly enjoyed our bone marrow, seafood stew, boquerones, and Dover sole piccata."
"Shared a burger, fries and Apple Jacks soft serve with my 13 year old son last Friday night and it was ALL delicious! (Also, highly recommend ordering a Shirley Temple!) We were able to snag a spot at the counter and it was fun to watch the bartenders make drinks and chat with us. Love the atmosphere of this place and the friendly service was great! Can’t wait to return!"
