"We ordered two pizzas, the sweet and sassy and crab rangoon. The crab rangoon wasn't too bad, just needed a little tweaking. It has too many pieces of wonton shells on top and needs green onions. Sweet and sassy was definitely our favorite, the only thing different is we would order it with tomatoes. Our waitress was friendly and on top of everything. for the atmosphere, the place could use a good cleaning ."
"Really cool place, interesting twist on your classic Chinese food and your classic pizza combo. I had the Orange Chicken pizza. Which has veggie fried rice on it and for the “pizza sauce” it was the orange chicken sauce. It was a nice size for one person, the atmosphere is great as well a bit small but definitely neat little gem in De Moines."
"I’d heard soooo many good things about Fong’s Pizza. I was absolutely stoked to see this place in person and see what everyone was raving about since I was visiting Des Moines. It was a bit underwhelming. The food was good, I got the Korean Beef lunch special and my coworkers got the pepperoni with house sauce and the legendary Crab Rangoon pizza. They were all very good, but we did notice our stomachs were pretty upset with us in the night to follow. I don’t know if it was a fluke or not. I definitely want to try it again to see and to try some of the other crazy flavors of pizza they have."
"Fongs is a known place around Des Moines. I have never been until today and it was phenomenal. Fast service, nice wait staff and food is amazing. The kitchen ended up making an extra pizza and even gave it to us for free. Loved our nice Sunday at a casual fun spot. Their drinks are also super tasty!"
"Fong's pizza has a really neat menu with a huge variety of unique specialty pizzas that I have never seen at other restaurants before. I had the Ramen pizza, which sounded really good and very interesting and unique, however the pizza was just okay. I had a few of the appetizers, which were really great, it was just the pizza that really didn't do it for me. The service was quick and friendly. The prices were reasonable. The menu was so interesting that I would love to try a different one of their pizzas and see how it is."
