"The beers on tap were excellent, and I'm sure the food is awesome-- our pretzel was over salted and the cheese was cold, but it was still very good. Weather was chilly and it was hard to hear the stage in some places, but we had an awesome time! Careful of the bees and a few Shakey benches, but do enjoy the atmosphere!"
"Really cool “popup” beer garden for the summer in Des Moines Water Works park. They serve traditional German beers and a few local brews. They do have some limited food including grilled brats, pretzels. There is often free live music as well. It’s a great place to relax in the shade or sun!"

"Great new hangout family friendly with live Music and events. Amazing German Beers in real glass mugs, delicious grilled brats with available sour kraut and the usual condiments. BTW They do have American beers for the less adventurous beer drinkers."
"Came here their second night after opening. Pretty underwhelming in my opinion. It was nice to be able to grab a beer after running with my dog at Gray's but you could walk to Confluence, too, if you're looking for more ambience. If I knew I would just be drinking a beer outside, I would've just stayed home. There's no inviting décor so drinking at home would've been prettier."
