"Had a magnificent time. The beer was on point. The staff was fantastic. It was quite busy. But that should be expected for a place that is as tasty as their beer is."

"Nice to have a new brewery and additional option downtown Des Moines. Nice place, ample parking, big patio, great atmosphere and excellent service. The apps were not my favorite, but not bad. Plenty of food options. Totally worth a visit if you’re in the area."

"This is a very cool looking place. Its indoor out door and it has lights on the ceiling. The food is excellent and full of flavor. There are lots of different libations to be had. Bathrooms are nice. The staff was nice and efficient. They have tshirts for sale. Vegan options. There are TVs. I would eat here again."

"Shout out to Lua Brewing as it was the best brewery visited in Des Moines. Great space with vibrant wall art and rustic finishing for an overall warm vibe. The clean and crisp beers with custom glasses for each specific pour is also a very nice touch. The Kingmaker was really good. Sat at the bar on a Saturday night where there was definitely a push to keep you drinking or get moving but I guess that’s the price of popularity. Well worth a visit!"

"The food was delicious, the burger was very tasty and the salad was simple but refreshing. The beer selection was good but as you can tell from the photo there is a lack of visual diversity in the IPA selection. But the selection was still good enough to be worthy of a return trip. Outdoor seating was very welcome and while there was plenty of space inside the patio is a very comfortable place to enjoy without a lot of road noise or traffic noise."
